Information for architecture employers
Student portfolios
1. Submit a signed BEDS co-op agreement to Paula Costello.
2. Register for ARCH 8892 in the fall term.
3. Read the ARCH 8892 course outline and BEDS work book assignment.
4. To begin your job search, refer to the job postings distributed by the Co-op Office or posted on the Employment pages. You may send a digital portfolio to Paula Costello, to be uploaded to the student portfolios web page.
5. Submit a work term information form to Paula Costello within a week after obtaining a job, to confirm that your job is approved by the School.
6. Complete at least 500 hours of approved work experience in no less than 12 weeks.
7. If you have a question about the BEDS work book assignment, contact Roly Hudson: r.hudson@dal.ca or 902-494-6135.
8. Download an employer's evaluation form, fill in the overview on the back page, and have your employer complete the rest of the form.
9. Submit your work book assignment and employer's evaluation form to the Architecture office on the first day of the B5 term: Wednesday, January 4, 2012, 4:00 p.m.
10. Do a work term presentation during the second week of the B5 term.

3. Download the ARCH 5308-5309 course outline and MArch work book assignment.
