Rosetti Scholarship Exhibition
This exhibition presents graphic research by five MArch students - Peter Braithwaite, Matthew Kennedy, Shallyn Murray, Kristiana Schuhmann, and Ben Tiffin - who traveled to Detroit, Japan, Cambodia, Toronto/Belgium/India, and Japan in Summer 2011 to do funded research on a thesis-related topic. This exhibit offers a retrospective look at the fifty years since the establishment of the architecture program at the Nova Scotia Technical College in 1961. Oral histories from previous faculty, staff, and alumni are available as audio files on the Faculty's Alumni page.

What kind of city might Halifax be in 2061? Participate with design professionals, city builders, and citizens in a day-long workshop to imagine the future of Halifax.
Capital Conversations: Capital Planning in Ottawa and Halifax
As part of Horizon 2067, a fifty-year plan for Canada's Capital Region, the National Capital Commission is opening conversations with Canadians across the country. This event explores possible futures for Ottawa and Halifax as capital cities. Prataap Patrose (Director of Urban Design, Boston Redevelopment Authority) talks about cities of the future, followed by panelists Pastor Rhonda Britton (Cornwallis Baptist Church), Andy Fillmore (HRM Planning), and Frank Palermo (Dalhousie's Cities and Environment Unit).
